With the web player open, I played music with the Spotify app on my phone, clicked Devices Available on the bottom of the app, and then switched it to Spotify Web Player. 2024-05-28 09:41 PM. For some reason, I have to use Spotify's web player (https://open.spotify.com) and select the "desktop site option" in the Android browser settings. However, the webiste keeps reloading and fails to display any song lyrics on all mobile browsers. Here are the details and steps I've tried:

Still no luck. I've also noticed that once the memory usage starts ramping up, if I expand the browser window that's running Spotify and then minimize it again, the memory usage will drop back down to around 200mb. That's without stopping the music or any interaction with the web player - simply expanding and minimizing the window its in.

This issue only appeared today.

When using the web player, it will skip ahead 5 songs and then will only play the first 10 seconds of the song. I have found a "solution" for only playing 10 seconds, have the web player open in two different tabs and the second one will play all of the song. However, it still skips ahead 5 songs in the second window.
