I found my solution. Download and install Pictus. Now, I see (in my preview pane) a small preview pic of my .psd image. https://poppeman.se/pictus/. PHOTOSHOP SIDE NOTE: After install of Pictus, you may notice that some of your .psd files seem to have some sort of weird white shape in the preview.

As I know, PSD file is project file of Photoshop, you have to use photoshop to open the psd file. Windows photo gallery doesn't support psd file. Not sure why this is, but I just get a thumbnail icon that says PSD rather than seeing a preview of the file. Also the message that "File type cannot be displayed" when trying to view with Photo Viewer. Please help! I have Windows 7 professional.
