I created a free trial account yesterday and after playing for a few hours I signed up for the monthly subscription. It charged me right away, but it’s been about 12 hours or so since I bought the subscription and when I try to do things with my friends it still says things like you can’t trade with free trial accounts, etc. I can’t chat in the general chat either. How/when does this update?
So I’ve been playing for over a week now and my account still says it is a Free trial Account. I tried everything from resetting my password, finishing my battlenet account setup. I checked my status, and it says I’m subscribed, and I bought Dragon Flight. It been over a week and I submitted a ticket and no one has responded yet. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Hello, in past month i’ve come across an issue, 3 weeks ago when friend was sending me mail he got a pop up that my account is trial and i can’t receive mail. This is not the case as i have active sub since november and i play game actively, i can aces AH just fine and i can send mail myself, however when anyone tries to send me mail on any of my Characters on my account they get this pop ...
I’m playing wow free trial. I’d like to know what happens if I subscribe and then let my subscription lapse - Can I continue playing wow free trial with any level 20 characters?
Everyone knows that WoW has one of the worst free trials on the market for MMOs. Players can hit level 20 in less than an hour while seeing less than 1% of the game has to offer. How would you improve this? I won’t make my suggestion yet, as I don’t want the discussion around just that.

Longtime player took a break after getting several toons to 120, resubbed because after years of having zero interest my wife has agreed to give wow a try. I intend to send her a recruit a friend invite, but I’ve been unable to determine if she gets a 30 day trial period in order to use the recruitment or do we have to ad a sub for her to begin playing together?
Pre-patch it was level 20. Are trial accounts still locked at level 20? Or is it lower? What about gold limit for trials? If we reach 20, can we get enough gold for epic riding? Got an answer below. The trial account is still level 20, but the gold cap has been raised to 1000 gold.
Recently I had bought a 1 month subscription to WoW but when I look in Games and Subscriptions it still says I’m still only the Starter Edition, and when I play its the Starter Edition.
