Like Hulu the second you select a movie you’ve got 1 min and half of ads before move even starts for mine at least every 30 mins I’ll have 2 min and a half ones so 3 mins for every half hour’ I got the plan it was on $1.99 to add to my Hulu but yes they are fn annoying especially if you are balls deep in a movie then ad pop us they do it on purpose for no other reason than to get you to ...
Disney is REALLY trying to milk its users by annoying them so much they either give up on their favorite shows or force them to buy the $20/month ad free option instead of the $10/mo with ads. I really hope this doesn’t become a precedent since I pay $15 on Amazon prime for no ads already, and that’s the only option they offer
Per Disney Plus help page, these promo ads are going to be normal for all Disney+ accounts, ad-free and ad ...
I subscribed to the ad tier and I'm seeing 1:30 min ads every 5 mins. Additionally I paused my show, and 10 seconds after an ad started playing while on the pause screen. This is getting a little out of hand and I'm considering leaving the service.
53 votes, 45 comments. true. Modified to fit the TV schedule AND the 4:3 CRT! Good times, though. You'd all gather around to watch something you'd been anticipating, dinner at the ready, and then you'd hustle as quick as you could for seconds or dessert at an opportune commercial break, half-listening to the ads in the background to gauge how much longer you had, telling your siblings to hurry ...
I pay the extra $6/month for ad-free Hulu, but the Hulu content in Disney has ads. I got my Verizon plan a few years ago, and my Disney account uses a different email address than my Hulu account even though both are paid via Verizon.
I don't think that's valid at all, I think it's instead related to Disney Plus's live stream service. I just deactivated AdBlock and AdBlock Plus and kept uBlock Origin enabled, same result. More and more streaming services, like Paramount+ and Hulu, are getting around adblockers now.
If you have the Verizon legacy bundle your plan is Disney (no ads), Hulu and ESPN+ with ads. Hulu content in the Disney+ app will have ads just like if you watched it in the standalone Hulu app. Many of the movies in the Disney+ app are from the Hulu library.
Additionally, in the Subscriber Agreement, part 2 k, says that even ad-free tiers will receive brief ads for their Disney content, although it promises to not interrupt your show, presumably. This infuriates me. Disney, you're showing me ads because you think it will make you give you my money. I'm already giving you my money.
When I start a show, ads run and then the show plays without a problem. Once there’s an ad break, the ads run normally, but then I get stuck on a blank screen and the show never resumes. I can’t fast forward or rewind, as it still recognizes an ad-break is happening even after the countdown ends and nothing is playing.
