Outlook Contacts is a valuable database. I would like to be able to query it from Excel without actually exporting it from Outlook and then importing into Excel. Replies (1) . The Address book is simply a filtered view of Contacts that have an electronic address, it is not a separate file. What type of mail accounts are you using? IMAP? If so your contacts are in a folder marked "This PC only" and will be lost if the mail account is reset.
