There are shapes which you can round the edges of, but there isn't an easy way to do that. I think the idea is to generate a basic design using Tinkercad, and then bring it into Fusion 360 or the like to refine it. But then again, some tinkercad users do some crazy stuff with the app, so anything is possible...
November 09, 2018. I'm looking for a way to arrange a series of objects evenly spaced around another object. Specifically, I have a 18mm diameter cylinder and want to space nine 6mm cylinders around it, about 4mm away from it. Is there a way to do this in tinkercad, other than tedious manual tweaking of each object?

Every time I try to import an .stl file into TinkerCAD (usually from Thingiverse, but same problem elsewhere) it says it's importing, but seems to hang and eventually time out. The files I'm trying to import are well within the size limits listed in the import menu window. I want to print an object that's too large for my print bed and scaling it down is not an option. I would like to cut the part into 2 pieces, print, and glue them together. I have been unable to figure out how to accomplish this with TinkerCad or any other software for that matter. Any help or links to appropriate tutorials are appreciated.
01-29-2023 01:30 AM. To anybody that still has this problem, you can switch to another browser and most of the times it will work. It is pretty annoying to have to switch browsers but at least you can access your models again. Report.

I am working with a student whois using TinkerCad. We are curious to know if it is possible to take a DWG file from AutoCAD13 into TinkerCad. Both products are made by AudoDesk so I would think it is poosible. Thanks for your help. Mike. Solved by Patchy. Go to Solution.
TinkerCad opens Fusion, the little wheel spins, but a new design is not opened nor are the models imported and displayed. This has been working great until Fusion did the last update. I uninstalled Fusion, manually cleaned up the files and did a reinstall.
