Edfinancial has no record of this case being dropped and continues to keep all of my loans in borrower defense status, accruing and capitalizing interest each and every day. For those of you who are excited about that 1/30/40 date, don’t be. It is a deceptive way for edfinancial to capitalize the interest and add it to your overall balance.

Is Edfinancial really a bad loan service provider? I am new to student loans and when I searched up edfinancial here, I found a lot of negative posts about it. I'm scared now because FAFSA automatically made me use edfinancial. I'm still studying and I may transfer to a different college next year.

EdFinancial Services Sucks. Just finished law school in May. Applied to consolidate my loans in September. I’ve been checking the federal student aid website at least twice a week since then to check the progress and it has said that the application is being processed by edfinancial, and it still says that. Applied for SAVE at the same time ...

Contact actual ED Financial and ask them to verify the URL and email you received. Opt in 2FA for all your existing bank accounts. EdFinancial is in the process of transferring accounts to a new system. It's legit. There is a possibility you did. This sounds like a social engineering attempt.

    www.reddit.com/r/StudentLoans/comments/177i8bl/i_cant_access_my_edfinancial...

Now Edfinancial doesn’t recognize my login and it doesn’t even recognize my social security number when I try to reset my password. When I try to get in contact with them I’m just put on hold forever, they haven’t responded to my email, their chatbot is useless.
