my mail app doesn't work i can't login to mail app. it says: choose your email provide and than i click to the icloud and than i enter my email and my password. after that nothing happens. it doesn't go in. when i choose gmail it sends me to the gmail website and when i enter everything and than it sends me back to the mail app. and nothing again. nothing happens

Hello, so my husband d iPhone got broken very bad that it’s impossible to open, so he got a new phone but when he enters his apple ID with the right password and everything it asks him of to verify his apple id on the other device. But he can’t because that device it’s broken and that sim card with the apple id phone number aswell.
iPad not completing iCloud sign-in after signing out Have I bricked it? It was performing sluggishly so I thought I should sign out of iCloud and sign in again. The sign out seemed to work ok. I did save copies to my iPad, I did not merge. It has been trying to sign in for about 4 hours.
