Nelnet Not Processing Payments! Rant/Complaint. I’m so exhausted w/ Nelnet. I made a payment on 10/27, received a confirmation email, they debited the bank account, great. I have auto-debit set up and received an email saying the payment would be pulled on 11/2, great. I receive an email on 11/17 saying my account is past due!

They are not being directly paid interest, but they do generally make more money the longer loans are in "repayment", per borrower. Previously there were contracts for certain servicers that paid out a percent of outstanding balance per borrower.
