Indeed is just a glorified parasite of a website and most of the jobs you find on there are false doors. Indeed works by scraping hundreds or thousands of other websites for real job postings, and recreates the information as a new job in its own format. An overwhelming majority of jobs posted here are clones. Applying to these cloned jobs does ...
Indeed, I am. Indeed originates from the phrase in dede meaning "in fact, in truth." When you use the word indeed, you are underscoring that something is true. The word is also used when you want to introduce a point that's even truer than the last one you made. "Yes, I passed the test, and indeed, got the highest score in the class."
Yes. I got my last 3 jobs on Indeed. 200 applications is my average per job landed. I got a bunch of jobs on indeed I got like over 20 jobs in last two years but the current job I’m at, I got that job from going into indeed, clicking the company link they provided there and boom got the job. Indeed doesn't work.
The employer has allowed Indeed to send this message on their behalf. Parts of this email may use OpenAI and other AI technologies to generate content about the similarities between your resume and the job description. This message is intended only for you. Do not forward this email. You can always manage email settings on Indeed."
ChickenXing. • 10 mo. ago. A lot of times, employers are not aware that by closing out their listing on the Indeed platform without taking any further actions through the platform that every applicant gets the "Not selected by employer" message. Note that in addition to being able to see resumes/cover letter/applicant info through the Indeed ...
Head to our discord for live support: discord.gg/jobs. Indeed is such a waste of fucking time. The majority of the postings are just repostings there as a front because those companies are either so atrocious to work for with their "fire them before benefits kick in" ponzi scheme or they simply dont intend to hire anyone. That shit needs to be ...
Great. More bullshit hoops to jump through. They are worth it if the job ad mandates you take it but does the assessment really show if a candidate is competent or not is a different question and IMO it's entirely arbitrary and should be taken with a measure of skeptics. In my experience, yes absolutely.
Going through the company website is probably better if possible. I know that in our system, I simply log into the employer portal, and everyone's right there. Then every so often, I get an email from HR with a dump of additional resumes that were filed through indeed/linkedin. Simple truth is they get less love than the ones filed through the ...
Head to our discord for live support: discord.gg/jobs. LPT: Dont forget to apply directly through the company's website, instead of indeed. In my past experiences of applying for jobs, I've noticed that companies will post on Indeed, but will also have a direct application on their website. Make sure you visit the company's website every single ...
Beware of Realistic Indeed Scams. Job searching. I almost fell for a scam today. Last week I applied for a remote job via a post on indeed. The employer listed was a real company that I researched before applying. I received a text yesterday saying they would like to proceed with an online interview to further screen applicants.
