A couple years ago I worked in a call center that took customer service calls for a major carrier. The majority of calls were people wanting to activate phones. I was amazed how many people couldn't activate their phones because they bought it online & the IMEI was coming up lost/stolen or already activated on another line. It made buying cell phones online look like the worst idea ever.
Of course, EIN is valid, so after painfully long waiting time, eBay customer service called and I was told that only one eBay account can be associated with one EIN number. We use multiple ebay accounts for our business, one employee per account. This helps us track employee's work and calculate individual monthly commission.

I'm assuming that eBay will automatically include the IOSS number on the customs form when you purchase a label through eBay instead of a third party, but the HS code you'll probably need to select manually unless eBay pre-fills based on category.

resale number. 08-28-202103:42 AM. eBay does allow you to upload a sales tax exemption form which will be applied to your account. keep in mind that this makes the whole account tax exempt and there is no way to not use the exemption for personal purchases. The only work around is to have a separate taxable account and a non taxable account.
