I had to click on hbomax, pick my profile. Go to the far left hand side menu, go all the way down to the settings gear. Then go all the way to the top menu/bar, and go all the way over to the right, and there found the sign out - I could swear I tried this before, but must not have gone all the way over far enough! 0 Kudos. Still can't find a sign-out option on the HBO Max app. On the home page of HBO Max I see three icons at the top of the page. The FOUR (4) SQUARES ICON that will open a pull out menu for categories of content, a MAGNIFYING GLASS ICON for search and a CIRCLE ICON that indicates the current profile selected.
HBO Max Tech Support 1-855-442-6629. Albert walked me thru step-by-step. They are aware of this issue and am getting tons of calls. 1. Logon to HBOMax App on your TV (I use a Roku Ultra) 2. At top where it shows Browse, Q, then your initial, toggle to your initial till it shows something to the right of it (like your name). 3. Click OK.
Launched HBO MAX, changed to MAX, prompted for different ways to log in. Tried through provider (Spectrum). Went to the website listed, entered the code, followed the prompts, linked HBO MAX account, but screen on Roku did not update and stayed at the screen giving the code. Tried option to enter user name and password.

Cannot log in to Max (formerly HBO Max) via Roku app anymore. TV screen says to "update" to Max but there's no QR code to scan or any way to login to Max from the TV. I canceled the HBO Max subscription that I was getting from Roku and then signed up for Max directly through their website. Still cannot login to Max app from TV via Roku.

HBO Max will NOT play certain movies--once "play" is pressed, it buffers and then goes right back to the movie page. It is an endless loop. I have uninstalled HBO Max app. Restarted Roku. Add HBO Max. Problem persists. Repeat process won't work. Just an endless loop. HBO Max works on other devices, so this appears to be a Roku specific issue.
