Sam—or Sammy, as he was known to those closest—was a wonderful human with a larger-than-life personality. Rough around the edges and quick to speak his mind, you always knew where Sammy stood.

Do a google search on "Sam Bass flo-tech" and you'll find a contact number. How you do one thing, is how you do anything.

You don't have to worry if you need to add extra flour later in the process. Just put the flour in cup/bowl, add milk or water, pre mix it to make a slurry, then add as necessary. That way you can use it to thicken up your gravy if you went to far with the liquid additions and it won't be lumpy.

When I was a kid my grandfather kept a starling trap around. 1/2x3/4 wire formed into a box and a funnel just like a recall pen. He'd bait it and just set it out. He did catch lots of them.

A lot of water under the bridge since that day, but what then was a novelty has evolved into an understanding that fly-fishing is the BEST way to catch Summer and Fall fish. Lots of different flies will catch Steelhead. I don't change patterns much, although I have boxes full of different flies.
