After looking for a decent HU with built in GPS navigation, I choose DNX995S due low price and excelent features like HD screen resolution, Apple Carplay, etc. The problem is that I live in Brazil and DNX995S comes with a USA map. In contact with Kenwood Support, I received a bad info that it does not accept maps from other countries.

No glitches or difficulties in operation. Fast boot, it takes much longer for my Director to connect and start playing music than the HU.
What I would like to do is to display the Navigation Map from the Android Auto app, while simultaneously displaying a source information that is NOT part of the Android Auto (ie. However, I saw a lot of people were having no issues with the Helix software in Parallels, and that should be no different. I use my Win10 VM quite a bit and never have any issues. So I installed the latest ATF DSP tool, plus drivers. Connected the USB, set the device to map to the VM, and loaded the ATF tool. All good, it recognised the DSP.3.
the trick is that the hoop shouldnt stick out any farther than the OEM pod does. you can use .75 inch MDF for this, rabbeted out to hold a grille. I recommend a 10" OD hoop if you want to run 8's in the future. you can then stretch some glass over any remaining sections of map pocket still open.
