    According to Ron Watson, the stock turbo is capable of maxing out the fuel system on the WRX, so now we're talking even bigger bucks to support a DD turbo.     I'd say the last step is the most annoying and requires the most effort. Then you can just unbolt the differential from the rear cross member. The R180 is physically bigger than the R160. To use the the R180 you will need the corresponding axles and hub carriers, as the driveshafts and CV joints are bigger.
