Neighbours is a long-running Australian television soap opera first broadcast on the Seven Network on 18 March 1985. It was created by TV executive Reg Watson, who proposed the idea of making a show that focused on realistic stories and portrayed adults and teenagers who talk openly and solve their problems together.
All characters are introduced by the shows executive producer Jason Herbison. The 31st season of Neighbours began airing from 5 January 2015. [1] Cat Rogers began appearing in the same month, while Michelle Kim, Tyler Brennan and Nick Petrides made their debuts in February. Jimmy Williams, Aaron Brennan and Mary Smith were introduced in June.

Half-sisters. Amy Williams. Daughters. Harlow Robinson. Robert Robinson, played by Adam Hunter, made his first full appearance on 28 March 2006. The character's initial appearance, credited as "mysterious figure", was portrayed by body double Richard Swanson on 24 October 2005.
June saw the debuts of Prue Brown, Adam Rhodes, Kirsten Gannon and Mickey Gannon. Oliver's mother and brother, Rebecca and Declan Napier, were introduced in July, as were Bridget Parker, Miranda Parker, Steve Parker and Peggy Newton. Justin Hunter, Richard Aaronow and Riley Parker began appearing from August.
Red Cotton, played by real life band William and the Tells, made their first on screen appearance on 16 January 2012. [3] [4] The band's casting was announced on 21 September 2011. [3] William and the Tells are a four piece indie group from Melbourne fronted by siblings William and Pete Ewing, with their friends Ben Callaghan and Sam Walsh.
Susan Bower. Garland Cole, played by Jack Finsterer, [2] made his first on-screen appearance on 28 January 2011. Garland is an ex-con who is also involved in illegal street racing. [3] Garland is Finsterer's second role with Neighbours. He previously appeared as Russell Sykes in 1992. [3]
