The arc adapted in the Mugen Train movie is being readapted into an anime series. What they’re basically doing is spacing out the 2 hour long movie into episodes, adding some extra scenes, and even added an anime-original prologue episode. Movie is better option in my opinion but the choice is up to you :3. Watch episode 1 of season 2. Then watch the movie. The movie is a better experience imo.

Here's my review for the Mugen Train movie. I'll divide it into 5 parts, animation, music, pacing, storytelling and my musings. Lots of spoilers ahead so beware! Animation: 5/5 If you've enjoyed the animation in the anime, you won't be disappointed by the movie. The anime had near cinematic quality and it's even better to see it on the big screen.
